Courtney Marse is an artist and designer merging her experience in graphic design with working by hand. Digital textile designs derive from original works on paper inspired by the resonance in literature, flora, and aesthetics between her native Francophone Louisiana and France. Poetry plays a key role in that it provides the inspiration for seeing in more abstract ways, and allows new forms with which to articulate that vision.
